The Story of Grace Life church

Est. 2015

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works. Declare these things; exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no one disregard you.

Titus 2:11–15

Our church is birthed out of this text of Scripture. Our name, our mission, our DNA, comes from these Holy Spirit inspired words written by the Apostle Paul to a young man named Timothy. Paul says the grace of God has appeared. At the very center of God’s grace is Jesus, the only one who brings salvation for all people. This same grace trains us to flee from our sin and to pursue holiness as we wait for our Savior, the one who redeemed us, the one who purified us for Himself, our blessed hope to return again. He has transformed our hearts and is working in us for our good and for his glory. Now, we take this message of grace and we declare it! We share grace with every life as we point sinners and saints to the Savior.

What Christ has done in us is what we should desperately desire to see happen in the lives of people around us.

We want to see people transformed by God’s grace and become passionate for His glory.

Our Launch

With 15 people committed to taking the gospel to the Lake Asbury and Middleburg communities, we officially launched Sunday morning gatherings in February of 2015.

For five years, we gathered at Lake Asbury Elementary School to proclaim the grace of Jesus in our community. As our church grew, we focused on the importance of intentional, Biblical discipleship in a desire to see Jesus-centered disciples made for God’s glory.

Our Relocation

In March 2020, Covid-19 caused churches and schools to close down. We temporarily went online, but found ourselves looking for a new home. In God’s providence, He opened up the Clay County Shrine Club for us to gather in from June 2020-December 2021.

This season brought us closer together as a church and strengthened our dependence on the grace of Jesus.

Our Future

In January of 2022, we moved into our new permanent space at 3180 County Rd 220. We deemed this space the “Grace Space” because we deeply wanted to continue living out what God has called us to do: to share God’s grace with every life.

Our story begins with Jesus and will continue for Jesus. We know he is the author and finisher of our faith and while He has us here, we will be a church committed to declaring the transforming power of the gospel to everyone who will hear.

Be a part of our story.
