The churches of Galatia were a group of young churches Paul started during his first missionary journey.  These new believers were being swayed by a group teaching that these believers needed the Gospel plus all of the Jewish traditions.  This legalistic approach will be countered throughout this letter.  Consider what that means for us as we consider where we truly rest our salvation.
