Vision

We desire to see our community transformed by
God’s Grace and become passionate for
God’s Glory.

This is what we ultimately want to see take place in our community. This is why we exist. It is our hope that Grace Life Church will be a part in training and equipping God’s people to realize that they are the church sent out into their everyday life so we can see God transform lives through the grace of Jesus Christ and to see them become passionate for God’s glory.

Mission

To make Jesus-centered disciples for God’s Glory.

OUR MISSION IS THREE-FOLD:

We want to make Jesus Centered. This means that our focal point in every aspect of our church is Jesus. Jesus is the center of our KidLife Ministry, our preaching, and our singing. We even set up and tear down for Jesus. We understand that as soon as we become the center of attention, we lose sight of why we are here.

We want to make Jesus-centered disciples. Our passion is to be a church filled with disciples who make disciples. We want to share the Gospel with all people and then teach them how to follow Jesus both in theology and practice.

We want to do everything for God’s Glory. This is not about us. It’s not about building our brand and it’s definitely not about being the greatest church in town. We do everything we do so God will be glorified. We want to make much of him, and make it less about us.

most important to our church.

 

Teach God’s Word Passionately

            We value God’s Word as the ultimate authority in our lives.  We believe that the Bible was divinely inspired, and we frame everything we do using the standards and commands set out in the Bible. (John 17:17, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:21)

Pursue Jesus Daily

            We value a close personal relationship with Jesus that encompasses all areas of life.  We believe that our drive toward personal holiness is found in Jesus’ example intentional daily worship. (Hebrews 12:1, Romans 12:1, Psalm 63:1)

Gather Together Frequently

            We value time spent with other believers as a source of mutual encouragement.  We believe in God’s call to strengthen one another as we do life together, speaking Gospel hope into each others’ lives and sharing our burdens with one another. (Hebrews 10:24-25, 1 Thessalonians 5:11, Acts 2:42-47, Galatians 6:1-2)

Serve Others Selflessly

            We value the sharing of our gifts with both one another and with our community.  We believe we are each uniquely designed by God and are called to personally contribute to the church. (Galatians 5:13, John 12:26, Romans 12:9-13)

Give Cheerfully and Generously

            We value the opportunity to offer a portion of our finances to God. We believe that God is abundant in all things and has provided everything for us and our loving response is to cheerfully and generously give back. (Luke 6:38, 2 Corinthians 9:7-11, Deuteronomy 15:10, Psalm 50:9-10)

Share the Gospel Daily

            We value God’s mission to redeem all people through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  We believe we are called to speak this Gospel into the lives of all people, including our families, friends, neighborhoods, and places of work. (Romans 10:17, Isaiah 6:8, Matthew 5:15-16, Acts 1:8)

Spread the Gospel Globally

            We value the effort of bringing the good news of God’s salvation to all nations.  We support missionaries in their global efforts as they plant churches in places we may never see. (Psalm 105:1, Matthew 28:18-19, Acts 13:47)

We are making Jesus’ final words our first work.
Matthew 28:18-20 is our first priority.
