About the Book

The judgment of a Holy God is terrible for those who are recipients of His wrath. Joel describes what that complete devastation looks like in a variety of ways: an all-consuming horde of locusts, a destructive fire, a perfectly-trained army. Yet in it all God still seeks that people would repent and turn to Him.
