In chapter 19, God brings His people to Mount Sinai, and it is here where He doles out a new covenant with Israel.  Moses ascends the mountain, and God begins to give him instructions, beginning with the 10 commandments.  The first three commandments are about how we relate to God, and the other seven are about how we relate to others.  In this week’s reading, look at how God sets up the commandments, delivers them, and the people’s response to all of this.
