Paul confirms fully his reaching out to the Gentiles with the Gospel as equivalent to Peter’s reaching out to the Jews with the same good news.  Those Jews who are wrestling with legalism, right behavior with wrong belief, finally recognize that Paul is correct.  Legalism easily creeps into our lives when we aren’t aligning our actions with both the “what” and the “why” that we are taught in the Bible.
