The culmination of the last few passages come to a head in seeing that Jesus has made us holy with His one sacrifice for all people. Both Psalm 40 and Jeremiah 31 are referenced in this passage, and the work of all three elements of the Trinity are clearly pointed out. Take the time to read Psalm 40 at some point this week.
