The revelation of Jesus being connected to the tribe of Judah rather than Levi and yet is set as the perfect priest helps us to understand that the law would never have been able to completely save man. We can trust in His sacrifice because it perfectly fills our need. Consider how great it is that Jesus is our priest now and forever!
